When buying your street chair tickets, make sure you know the seller really represents the nonprofit you've chosen.
Thousands of San Antonians are buying street chair tickets for the Battle of Flowers® and Fiesta Flambeau® parades–but not all of those tickets are legitimate.
More than 100 small local nonprofit groups–Scout troops, PTAs, civic clubs and more–are authorized to sell the tickets. They’ve paid license fees to the Fiesta® San Antonio Commission. It’s a major fundraiser for those groups.
Several of those organizations have contacted the commission to report that their tickets have been stolen.
So the Fiesta® Commission urges the public to take care when making arrangements to buy chair tickets. The authorized organizations are listed on the Parade Seat Locator. Make sure the person you deal with is a member of the group listed for the location you’ve chosen on the parade route.
