The Fiesta San Antonio Commission is getting its holiday spirit started a little early this year. The commission has volunteered to be a drop-off location for the Elf Louise Christmas Project.

From Nov. 12 through Dec. 15 San Antonians can bring unwrapped toys to the commission office, 2611 Broadway, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays (except Nov. 26 and 27). Fiesta Santa will collect the gifts and take them to Elf Louise for wrapping and distribution.

Elf Louise (Louise Locker) began her holiday career in 1969. In 2008 19,000 children received gifts through her project. For more information about Elf Louise go to her website. If you wish to make a monetary donation, you can find out how on this page of her site.
