Take your child to workshop ‘Fit for a Princess’

Fit for a Princess photoLittle girls ages 4 through 10 can learn self esteem March 15 and be crowned princesses March 17 at a Fit for a Princess event presented by the Cherice Cochrane Mentoring Foundation.

A March 15 workshop (4-6 p.m.) and March 17 coronation(11 a.m.-2 p.m.) are to take place at the Molly Pruitt Branch Library at Roosevelt High School, 5110 Walzem Rd. This flyer gives details.

Girls and parents are to take part in four short sessions over the two days:

  • Health and fitness.
  • Arts and crafts
  • Fashion show
  • Coronation

“What makes a little girl ‘fit for a princess?”, asked Claudette Lewis of the foundation. “It’s her inner and outer beauty, her self image, confidence and character, and her compassion for others.”

Registration is available at the library or with this form. Registration deadline is March 10, and space is limited to the first 50 applicants.
