Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Reunite With Their Kids for ‘Thanksgiving’

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, both 47, were Hollywood’s favorite couple till they announced their separation in 2015 due to personal issues.

Despite their divorce; they have been doting parents to their three children Violet, 13; Seraphina, 10 and Samuel, 7, and recently reunited on Thursday for a holiday.

According to a source –

They all celebrated Thanksgiving together. It’s very important for both Jennifer and Ben that they celebrate all the holidays together as a family.

Sources added that Ben looked happy and great as he reunited with his kids. The couple took the trio to the movies during the holiday. It was in October 2018 when the couple finalized their divorce but has been in good terms with each other.

Ben has been filming Deep Water in New Orleans and has always thanked Jennifer for the support that she has provided to Ben.

The father of three has been outspoken about his struggles with addiction and has always talked about his family in a good way.

Ben Affleck has often referred Jennifer as a ‘wonderful co-parent’. He was quoted as saying,

When somebody’s the mother of your kids, they’re going to be the most important central person in your life and that’s good.

Sources have added that despite the divorce, the two have been working very closely when it comes to parenting their three children.

Earlier this year too, the actor was photographed spending time with Jennifer and their kids. As the photographs appeared on the social media and tabloids; the family could be seen decorating Jen’s home for Halloween, as the actress placed a pumpkin on the ground and Seraphina assisted.

Ben looked keen and in good spirits as he smiled all the time for the cameras and was seen continuously interacting with his family. Just before the Halloween get together with his family; he was seen partying the night away at the Unicef Masquerade ball at La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood.

When the duo had first announced their plan to separate ways; their fans were very unhappy. In 2017, Jennifer had stated that she was not happy with the current state of her marriage with Ben.

She was not happy with Ben’s alcohol addiction and wanted him to work on addressing this issue.

Ben seemed to be taking his abstinence seriously when he showed up at an Alcoholics Annonymous meeting shortly after he and Jen announced their split.

Ben entered rehab in August 2018 after Jen intervened, along with a sober coach. It seemed that the treatment was going on just fine as the duo settled their case out of court halfway through the month. Their case was anyway going at a snail’s pace and the Judge hearing their case had even warned them that he might have to call off the case due to lack of documents and the way things were proceeding. But, ultimately the divorce did happen.

When the couple had got married, no prenuptial agreement had been signed and this had simplified their separation to a great extent. Plus, they both agreed to share custody of their three kids.

It was on October 4 in 2018 when they finalized their divorce after meeting at Jen’s house to discuss the details. It was here that they agreed to share custody of their three children.

Even to this day, they continue to stand by what they first said in their joint statement about co-parenting their children together. This is not the first time that they have been seen enjoying with their children. On several occasions; they make time for their kids and celebrate occasions together.
