Her family consisted of three children, among which Julia was the youngest. Creative minds surrounded Julia for as long as anyone can remember. Before her parents split in 1971, they were both actors running a workshop to single out and launch aspiring writers and performers.

During her childhood days, Julia aspired to become a veterinarian. Although she soon gave up this dream upon realizing that she was good at Science.

On July 4, 2002, Julia Roberts got married to Moder. They enjoyed a healthy married life and were soon blessed with twins Phinnaeus Walter and Hazel Patricia in 2004.
